You will work as a solicitor in a dedicated department in the Thames Valley dealing with a range of Employment matters for a range of legal expenses insurers and private paying clients.
The work will mainly deal with contentious matters on behalf of claimant clients. However, there is scope to work on non-contentious matters also.
Youwill be required to take on an existing substantive caseload ofabout 25 litigated files with limited supervision. You must possess the technical and legal expertise to provide advise on the following areas of employment law:
Breach of Contract,
Unfair Dismissal,
Discrimination,
Public Interest Disclosure and;
Transfer of Undertaking.
Who we're looking for
A solicitor working in a Employment department, who can deal with both contentious and non-contentious matters.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on LEI matters for Claimants but this is not essential.
