An exciting role has arisen with my client, a manufacturer of modular buildings and structures, for a Procurement Manager to join them based in Buckinghamshire. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing & Procurement the main responsibilities of the role will be:
• Management of the purchasing portfolio including materials, componentsand sub-contractors.
• Dealing and liaising with major suppliers to negotiate commercial terms for the supply of key items and services.
• Manage the operational purchasing team on a day-to-day basis.
• Drive supplier performance improvement through the use of robust KPI's and contractual SLA's.
• Instigate timely corrective actions for supplierpoor performance.
• Manage high-quality relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Who we're looking for
You will have experience of operating in a purchasing capacity within the construction industry. Experience of materials and sub-contract buying would be beneficial as well as demonstrable man management skills.

What's on offer
Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 dependent upon experience
