Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor

Our client seeks to recruit a non-contentious construction solicitor to join their busy team in Tunbridge Wells. In addition to handling your own case load, you will be expected to be actively involved in both business development and coaching more junior fee-earners. The role is particularly interactive, servicing a wide range of both internal and external clients. Because the role is predominantly non-contentious, you will be expected to work closely with the Real Estate teams advising on and drafting building contracts, development agreements, professional retainers, warranties and bonds. The Department as a whole provide advice on a wide range of construction issues including
• Methods of Procurement
• Bespoke and standard form building and engineering contracts
• Consultants appointments
• Collateral warranties
• Bonds and guarantees

Who we're looking for
You will be experienced in a wide range of construction Matters and have a strong academic and technical record. You must have a pro-active approach to business development and you must have good communications skills in order to liaise with Clients and colleagues alike. Although the role is non-contentious, experience in contentious construction work would also be advantageous but not essential.
