Our client delivers and supports distance learning courses to ACCA, CIMA, CAT and AAT students worldwide. The rapid growth of the distance learning programme has created this new position which would suit those who enjoy passing on their knowledge and experience and value flexibility in their working hours.
Your role as a Support Tutor in the Leeds office will involve:
• Providing reactive support to distance learning students by answering questionsvia email and telephone;
• Providing proactive support by contacting distance learning students throughout their studies to offer advice and motivation;
• Supporting the distance learning team in communicating technical updates, relevant articles and final revision guidance and exam tips;
• Preparing employer reports on progress test results and student performance;
• Contributing towards the updating of study guides and progress tests;
• Providing constructive feedback within the business on the contents of publications, e-learning products, study materials and progress tests;
• Building strong, productive relationships with the internal publishing content team;
• Identifying and suggesting opportunities to develop and grow the distance learning business.
Who we're looking for
Professional accounting qualification is a prerequisite along with excellent technical skills.You must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be a team player who interacts effectively with colleagues. There will be some weekend and evening work.
