The development lead (Architect) will lead a team of developers to develop and implement solutions for the specific needs of the Bank applying in-depth knowledge of software development concepts, practices and procedures with demanding deadlines. Business needs must be translated into effective technical solutions using VB.net and database (MS-SQL server or Oracle).
The candidate must be able to act independently operating with only general direction.
The Candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and customization of software systems Will act as technical lead for assigned staff and provide weekly written project status.
Responsibilities:
• Be able to define and document requirements, design, and system testing
• Planning and documentation of applications to provide technical architecture.
• Train/assist staff as needed on existing and new technologies
• Provide support and enhancements for existing systems and software
• Coordinate activities with other team members and with other departments in the IT group.
• Plan development activities needed to achieve the desired end-results on the Bank systems.
• Modification and maintenance of existing applications and custom applications.
• Ensure projects are completed on time
Who we're looking for
Qualification and Skills:
• Degree or Equivalent
• Proven track record in programming using VB, VB.NET and SQL Server working in a financial organization
• ASP.Net experience is a plus
• Have an in-depth understanding of Microsoft technologies and solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be a team player, results oriented and committed to quality management
