Your responsibilities will include:
• Timely and accurate production and analysis of management accounts and KPI's.
• Review of monthly management accounts and KPI's with the Finance Manager.
• Investigation of variances from expected performance and recommending corrective action as appropriate.
• Construction of clear reporting models for existing and upcoming projects.
• Ensuring efficient use of existing reporting and recommend process improvement where appropriate.
• Preparing financial information and assisting in bid compilation.
• Updating business plans, including 'what if' analysis, in conjunction with relevant business managers.
• Co-ordinating and preparation of annual budgets and three year business plan.
• Monthly forecasts and related analytics in conjunction with the Finance Manager.
• Providing accurate accounts preparation across the group finance and operational structure for production of statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Building effective communication links across the finance and operational structure.
• Ensuring excellent service provision to both internal and external clients at all times.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have substantial management accounts experience with strong reporting and forecasting skills. You will be able to demonstrate a history of excellent performance in a service led environment dealing with multiple tasks at once. The ability to communicate effectively across a range of competency levels is also important. A recognised accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.
