Mercia is a leading provider of training & support services to UK accountancy firms and is seeking a training consultant to join their expanding team.
Your role will include the delivery of practical training courses on a range of subjects including accounts, audit and tax. You will teach groups of between 5 and 20 people and be responsible for ensuring all participants have a positive learning experience. You will also get involved in developing and editing course materials and influence the content of the courses you teach. Mercia delivers a wide range of training courses and other support for accountancy firms, which necessitates talented and professional trainers and in turn, leads to continued development and rewards for our team.
Who we're looking for
The role will suit qualified accountants with strong technical knowledge who also have the ability to communicate this to diverse audiences. Suitable candidates will also have gained practical experience in the accountancy profession. The willingness and ability to travel during the week is essential but your weekends remain your own! Previous training or lecturing experience is by no means a pre-requisite - a passion for teaching is!
