The same successful partners who launched PruHealth in 2004 are now establishing a new franchised distribution network called PruProtection Consulting, to offer account management support to brokers and IFAs who are only served remotely by most providers, thereby reaching a previously untapped market.
PruHealth has been a fantastic success story, winning a number of awards - including Health Insurance Company of the Year in 2006 and 2007 - and establishing a firm and rapidly growing presence in the individual and SME market. The PruProtect Plan was launched in 2007 and has already been awarded 5-stars by Defaqto.
PruProtection Consulting franchises are building a national franchised sales team made up of high calibre and dynamic Account Managers. Reporting to local Franchise Directors, these newly created roles will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a panel of local intermediaries to achieve PruHealth and PruProtect new business sales targets and objectives. You will be encouraged to participate in training, development and recognition programmes which help you to improve your knowledge and skills and will be rewarded for your efforts.
You will create and drive new business growth strategies with intermediaries on your panel. You will take personal responsibility for understanding each account's business and identifying areas of account growth. You will execute sales initiatives with pace and purpose and to the highest standards of professionalism. You will also represent the business at forums and road shows, presenting to varied audiences, selling the product in a professional and compliant manner. You will also have responsibility for the technical training of groups of intermediaries.
Who we're looking for
You will be of graduate calibre with a track record of achieving significant sales successes through new business. You will be excited by the opportunity to join a start up, and be comfortable operating in a flexible and dynamic environment where you will be involved in helping to shape the way the franchise does business.
You will have current experience of selling financial services products; this will ideally include selling via intermediaries within your local area.
Clearly you will have a demonstrable track record of delivering against sales targets whilst also possessing a stable and successful career history.
A background of selling in a Franchised environment is also of distinct advantage
