Our client, following a recent period of excellent growth, is looking to hire candidates at several levels for UK offshore practice, including this rare opportunity to join the senior management team at a significant level. As Audit Senior Manager/Director, you will be working on a high-profile, technically challenging portfolio of clients. Clients will be both from the local and international market, and will predominantly focus on the Financial Services sector. As a leader in the team and firm, you will also be expected to conduct high level duties to build up and develop the firm, including contributing to the recruitment process, financial planning and budgeting for the practice, and taking an active role in the business development and marketing activities.
As this is a senior management position, it is anticipated that this individual would have the opportunity in the short term to work towards a Signing Director role, obtaining 'Responsible Individual' status with the ICAEW.You would be taking on lead client service responsibilities for a portfolio of clients including investment funds, captive insurance companies, banks and general insurance companies.
Who we're looking for
• Successful candidates should ideally be working at a senior level of responsibility within a similar practice environment.
• You just hold an internationally-recognised accounting designation, such as the ACA/CA/ACCA.
• Candidates with an FS audit background are especially welcome to apply, but this is not essential.
• You should be committed to relocating to the Isle of Man and to contributing actively to building and developing the practice.
