• This respected and successful financial services organisation now seeks a Senior Learning and Development professional to provide an outstanding training DELIVERY service across its retail network. Reporting to the Head of Learning (Retail), you will operate as a crucial part of the delivery team for retail operations and take responsibility for the following...
• Deliver and facilitate a wide range of courses ranging from management training, motivation, customer service, leadership development, time management and company values to all levels of retail employees
• Delivering up to senior executive level
• Deliver business aligned training that will vary according to the requirements of the retail operations at any given time
• Aid wider HR policies such as attrition reduction through promoting the brand to new employees, acting as a role model to the business stream and ensuring colleagues are effectively trained
• Build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and similarly across the Learning function
• Demonstrate commercialism and a business partnering approach to training within retail operations
• Promote a culture of personal development, supported by your own desire to develop
• Assist the design and evaluation teams where necessary and reporting to/advising line managers on areas in need of support
• Suggest new and better ways to deliver and embrace new materials, theories and ideas by keeping abreast of developments in the wider learning community
NB- This is a DELIVERY focused role within the Learning and Development team, and you will need to be exceptional in this area. You will be based in West Yorkshire but travel to other sites will be required
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this Senior Learning Specialist will be...
• From a Financial Services or Retail background
• An established L&D professional with a proven track record in a pressurised and commercial environment
• An exceptional training deliverer (but competent in the full cycle)
• Excellent people skills at all levels including the ability to influence senior management
• Innovative thinking around training methods and materials
• Business savvy
• Able to adapt to an every evolving business and thrive on producing tangible results
