Travelling throughout Greater London you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring new sites and securing planning permission for one of the UK's leading hotel and restaurant brands.
As Acquisitions Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
• Actively leading external teams of architects, planners, solicitors and quantity surveyors
• Devising and presenting new investment proposals
• Closely monitoring activity in your region, and beyond if necessary
• Regularly reporting to our Brand Executive and Investment Committees
Who we're looking for
This is your opportunity to utilise your development skills and understanding of the retail, hotel or leisure sector. With a naturally tenacious attitude, you will be eager to achieve greater results and will use your well-honed negotiating skills to acquire property on favourable terms. You should be able to effectively work with a range of people and be highly self-motivated. You must also be capable of working independently and as part of a team and relishing the opportunity to secure a large number of deals quickly and effectively.
You will ideally reside within a commutable distance to London and possess :
• A good knowledge of property, planning practice and property law
• First-class communication skills and excellent commercial judgment
• A professional membership of the Royal Institute of chartered surveyor (MRICS) or on course to qualify.
• A proven track record in acquisitions is considered desirable
