This role will involve providing knowledge of Employee Relations related policies and procedures to incoming complex cases and act as a skilled advisor on employment legislation. The role holder will also support the companies customers with a quality ER Advisory service, providing a rapid response to queries, delivered via telephone & occasionally face to face.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with customers to support and resolve individual cases and identify span of risks and formulate appropriate strategies to successfully mitigate them. There will also be a requirement forthem toact as a reference point for Contact Services in cases where documented procedures cannot resolve an incoming case or query
Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for candidates with the following:
• Extensive understanding of external employment legislation, internal staff policies and procedures and forthcoming developments in both area.
• A good understanding of the business areas of our customers and 'local' initiatives occurring within.
• A high level of literacy and accuracy is expected.
• Using effective communication skills to ensure customers understand our message and the actions / recommendations that should be followed to resolve an issue.
• Logical decision-making, effective listening, clarity of thought and utmost professionalism
