Reporting to the Operating Company Managing Director your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing strategic and financial management and leadership within a high growth business.
• Managing, developing and driving the finance team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial and management reporting, analysis and recommendations.
• Acting as a critical business partner to the MD on all aspects of commercial growth and development.
• Deliver high levels of cost challenge and reduction and ensure business decisions are based on sound factual data and business analysis.
• Operating as a key commercial partner to the business development teams on tender and contract management to improve competitive advantage contract profitability.
• Developing strong business relationships across all divisions and with Group functions.
Who we're looking for
Prospective candidates will have an excellent academic background and will be qualified accountant with a demonstrable track record of success. Exposure to operating within a contract service driven business would be advantageous. You will have a strong technical accounting skills coupled with an exceptional commercial awareness and the credibility to influence and maximise the capability and effectiveness of the business. Of equal importance are excellent interpersonal skills that will enable the Finance Director to make a positive impact on this growth division
