Group Financial Controller

Reporting to the Group Finance Director your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the preparation and interpretation of Group management accounts, budgets, quarterly reviews in accordance with the Group timetables, policies and standards. Regular analysis of trends and to advise/challenge senior financial and operational management.
• Preparation of consolidated accounts, liaison and review with the tax dept and management of the audit process and finalisation with auditors.
• Managing the Group accounts team.
• Driving and challenging change and performance across the business.
• Identification and resolution of problems and opportunities.
• Contributing to the strategic planning process identifying the financial implications of agreed strategies ensuring the integrity of the Group's results, safeguarding of assets and ensuring all financial policies are appropriate.
Who we're looking for
Prospective candidates will have a strong academic background and will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record. Experience of leadership in driving performance and working for a multi million pound businesses would be pre requisite. You will need to demonstrate how producing consolidated accounts and group wide financial statements be managed and delivered under your leadership. You will be hands on and proactive in approach. In addition demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will enable you to quickly develop strong business relationships across the Group business divisions.
