• Produce and analyse monthly cost centre reports for all UK Financial Services (UKFS) incorporating Life & Pensions, Banking and Healthcare businesses.
• Using a business partner approach provide Financial consultancy advice for UKFS Divisions including representing Finance on key business projects to provide guidance on accounting issues and ensuring that business changes are reflected properly within the expense ledger, expense analysis model and future reporting.
• Assist in the development of the Expense Analysis model to support the calculation of future product prices, financial management and external reporting.
• Liaise with other areas within UKFS and Group regarding the month end procedures, journal entries, and business expenditure. This includes allocation, review and analysis of financial information in respect of Recharges from other Group areas.
• Assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, with specific responsibility for the production and consolidation of expense templates, supporting expense and FTE analysis, and management presentations.
• Produce additional monthly Management Information to support the budget holders understanding of the cost centre report, these will include: non staff related spend analysis; business travel and ad-hoc queries.
• Maintain the Expense Analysis model with full suite of UK Financial Services products to provide supporting analysis for decision making. This includes regular review of the model to identify continuous improvement opportunities in respect of reporting timescales, data collection and report production.

Who we're looking for
Essential:
o Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CA).
o Advanced Excel skills.
o Track record of experience, ideally gained within Financial Services.
o A strong team player.
o Commercially minded.
o Strong communication and presentation skills.
o Proven planning and organisational skills.

Highly desirable:
o Experience of data mining software such as Essbase.
