The primary function of a Server Support Analyst within this IT group involves design, implementation, configuration, maintenance and support of the critical Windows 2003 server environment whilst working in conjunction with a service desk team. The areas that fall under the incumbent's responsibilities include; Windows Server, Exchange Server, Cisco Call Manager, Neverfail, VMWare and Citrix. As well as these tasks the ideal Server Support Analyst will have proactive and innovative ideas regarding current and future technology to help improve the organisation's server and network environment long term. There will also be many projects that the incumbent will be involved in and take ownership of within this role.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience of the following skills and technologies:
• Windows Server 2003
• Exchange Server 2003/2007
• Network Switches & Routers
• VMWare
• Citrix
Other beneficial skills and qualifications include exposure to:
• First class communication and customer service skills
• MCSE or CCNA
