APM Global Logistics have an exciting opening for a Human Resources Officer to join their team based in Hainault and become part of their leading international organisation. A challenging and varied generalist role, key responsibilities will include:
• The updating and maintenance of all contracts and policies, focusing on the harmonisation of Terms and Conditions and policy reformation where required, including selling any changes to the business/key stakeholders.
• Being the HR Project Manager and supporting the current large scale project FACT (a new finance system yet to be implemented) in terms of the HR migration strategy and working with the project team to prepare for the impact on current working practices and staff.
• Supporting the HR Co-coordinators across various sites in regards to ER issues.
• Working closely with the Leadership and Development Manager, ensuring effective succession planning and assisting the drive for constant improvement and growth by building talent pipelines into the business.
• Be responsible for setting up and maintaining an APM Global Logistics Intranet site to use as an effective method of HR communication to the organisation.
• Be the Employment law specialist, advising on policies and processes as required.

You will have the chance to exercise your commercial and technical knowledge to provide a service to APM Logistics that will assist in its strategic objectives; a unique opportunity at the HR Officer level where you can gain exposure across a wide range of HR disciplines.

Who we're looking for
You will be an organised and independent Human Resources professional, with a mind for project planning, comfortable with a fast paced and changing environment. With a proven track record of working on complex employment related matters, you will be a true Human Resources generalist,committed and driven to delivering the best possible service. Your project management experience is not essential but you must be comfortable with a changing and results driven environment. The following is also desired:
•A previous requirement to work within a multi-site environment.
•The ability to work towards deadlines, to multi-task and self-motivate.
• Previous employment in a similar industry.
• Full or part CIPD qualified.
The requirement to travel UK wide must also be highlighted as an integral part of the role, as providing support to the numerous sites is essential.
