We are currently recruiting for a Senior Land Manager within the Hertfordshire area, you will need to demonstrate a understanding of the Acquisition process within the Residential sector. Within the role you must take responsibility for site evaluation and appraisal, and will be up to date with the current planning process. You need a successful track record as a Land Manager, together with a real enthusiasm for this type of role. Main Duties will entail managing securing land for a privately owned, highly successful house-builder, the purchase of residential land throughout the South East for development and acquire residential land for trading
Who we're looking for
Reporting to theGroup Development Directorthe main purpose of the role will be to identify and acquire strategic opportunities in accordance with the business plan and operating policies of the company.
Including:
1) Carrying out planning, marketing and financial evaluation of sites
2) Formulating site values by determining optimum dwelling mix, layout, configuration and purchase terms in line with marketing input
3) Making offers to purchase and negotiate the most advantageous price and terms direct with the vendor or their agents
4) Securing the exchange of contracts to purchase and ultimately the legal completion by managing solicitors
5) Securing planning and associated permissions and conditions by negotiation and liaison with relevant authorities, residents and representative bodies
