Job Role
Reporting into the Director of Engineering, the Senior Civil Engineer will be the lead on all structural and civil work including design, ground works, site management, reviews and continuous management of sub-contractors. The successful candidate will be working on multiple CHP projects across Europe and Africa, conducting site visits to these areas and monitor timelines and budgets whilst maintaining a UK base in Durham.
You will also be required to support all new business development and construction projects with a specific focus on ContourGlobal?s CHP growth.
Who we're looking for
•The ideal candidate will have experience of construction projects in the power generation market but this is not essential.
•The Senior Civil Engineer must have exposure to construction projects in the manufacturing or industrial industry.
•A civil and structural engineering background at a managerial level is a pre-requisite with a degree education in this field being preferable.
•A strong communicator with the character and ability to develop internal and external relationships
•self motivated with a desire to consistently perform against budgets anddeadlines.
•Willingness and flexibility to travel across Europe and Africa.
