Fuelled by acquisition and development in key markets, my client has witnessed a significant period of growth over the past few years. All forecasts suggest that the business will continue to develop at a rapid pace which in turn has had a significant impact on the role of IT in the organisation, as organisational requirements increase.
As the sole IT Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the implementation of all internal IT Projects to ensure cost effective and timely delivery while adhering to best practice methodologies.
Your core responsibilities will include;
• Manage & deliver the projects of the IT Dept
• Manage the relationships with external suppliers and internal technical resources to enable successful project delivery
• Manage and improve the working relationships between the IT Dept and key business stakeholders
• Advise other members of the IT Dept of Project Management 'Best Practice'
• Provide suggestions for strategic projects to improve business processes, drive productivity and facilitate innovation.
Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrable experience of;
• Successful project delivery where timescales and budgets have been met
• Specific experience in the delivery of internal IT Projects
• 3rd party & Stakeholder management
• Qualifications; Prince 2 (or similar), ITIL, other 'Best practice' IT or Project Management tools
In addition to the above, you should possess a 'can do' attitude with an eagerness to succeed and willingness to learn.
This role would also suit a very strong project manager who's specific 'IT' experience may only account for 20% of their skill set but, who wants to increase their knowledge to specialise in Business Systems.
