The Contract Managers support project management, estimating and operations teams in a number of areas throughout the contracting process including, pre-qualification or business development documentation; review and provide recommendations on provisions within bid or contract documents to mitigate risk exposure; provide guidance and support to management in negotiations leading to finalization of contract and sub-contract agreements; they will also deal with the preparation of various ancillary agreements. The Contract Managers will provide guidance to project teams regarding change management. The successful Contract Managers willhave a Quantity Surveyor, Professional Engineer, Project Manager,Commercial Manager or Contracts background.
The Contract Managers will have proven experience in a similar contract management role in the construction industry and have experience in drafting, formulating, administering and interpreting construction contracts and subcontracts in the pre- and post-award phases, including assisting and guiding project teams towards settlement.
Who we're looking for
• Extensive background in the contractual aspects of bid submissions and the management of awarded contracts from a contractor perspective;
• Experience stewarding project teams towards presentation, and successful resolution, of change management and final accounts.
• Able to work independently within corporate offices with occasional site visits
• Diplomatic in their approach with the capacity to bridge the divide between review and reporting to their superiors, whilst retaining confidence and respect with personnel will be vital to make this role a successful one.
• All successful individuals must display exceptional communication and written skills.
• Evidence of specific achievements within previous roles including delivering best practice.
• Must have a background in infrastructure, civils or construction.

What's on offer
125,000 Base Salary (Canadian Dollars) plus relocation and comprehensive benefits package, (the salary is equivalent to £65,000 depending on current exchange rates)
