With a Nationwide remit, the successful candidate will create an employment climate where people are treated ethically and fairly, feel valued and are motivated to achieve excellent results. They will provide Employee Relations support to this multi site service organisation with activities ranging from giving practical and commercially sensible advice on employment matters, to policy development to ensure compliance with UK and EU Employment Legislation. They will lead a team of geographically dispersed ER Managers, ensuring they give an excellent service. In addition, an important part of the role is to support and develop line managers to become more self sufficient with ER matters.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
• extensive Employee Relations experience from within multi site service organisation
• a proven track record of implementing complex employment legislation into company policy
• outstanding communication and influencing skills with the ability to get buy in from the business
• a pragmatic and commercial approach coupled with the knowledge and confidence to make business critical decisions on ER matters
