Working as part of a busy Risk & Compliance team, with specific responsibilities for undertaking core responsibilities allocated to the Advisory Function, including:
• Providing advisory services to certain teams/ functions relating to regulatory requirements and potential risk issues that require to be managed; and
• Participating in business projects that impact the teams/ functions allocated; and
• Co-ordinating and implementing mitigation plans affecting such business teams/ functions to address risks.

The successful candidate will be an experienced compliance professional within the investment management industry. They will also be risk aware, adaptable and innovative.
Who we're looking for
• Experience of working as part of a risk team an advantage
• Proven track record in influencing and building credibility with senior management
• Expertise and track record in implementing, embedding and maintaining change
• Educated to degree level / good academic record
• Sound understanding of the UK regulatory regime
• Familiarity with global regulations an advantage (e.g. UCITS, China A share market (SAFE & CSRC), SEC, NASD, CFTC, Asia etc)
• Ability to interpret regulations to a high standard
• An ability to see the big picture and formulate clear, commercial judgement
