Business Development Manager & Part time General Manager

Chemical & Industrial Cleaning

This interesting position will have the candidate perform 2 distinct functions under 2 separate brands. The roles are separated below:

(1) Business Development Manager for Solarca

• 4 days per week you will support and develop the long term relations with Solarca's accounts across EMEA & Asia
• Improve the company's profile internationally and it's brands profile within the segment
• Retain & develop relations with existing customers within the segment
• Proactively target clients to increase sales volumes, expand customer base and the company's market share
• Manage existing channel routes to market
• Create new opportunities for the company services within the segment
• Meet and exceed sales budget objectives

(2) Part Time General Manager for SABSCO

• 1 day per week within the UK office in Gravesend, Kent
• To formulate and implement strategic plans to deliver long-term profitable growth
• To gain a full understanding of the companies, their markets, products, customers and suppliers
• To provide leadership through the management team to deliver optimum performance to meet strategic growth plans
• Agreeing objectives and targets by department and ensuring adherence to them
• To develop and implement a marketing plan that delivers the growth strategy including the rationalization of their product range and customer base.
• To develop and implement a cohesive sales growth plan successfully.
• To ensure financial targets are set and achieved to make the Company's growth objectives sustainable.
• To ensure the Companies comply with all regulatory requirements with particular regard to HSE, Quality and other statutory legislation.
• You will perform, to the best of your ability, all the duties of this post and any other duties which may reasonably be required of you and will at all times carry out reasonable instructions given to you.

Who we're looking for
• A Bi-lingual English and French speaker is essential
• Qualification in Engineering, ideally Chemical Engineering
• High 'commercial edge' to bring a proactive, energetic approach to ensure the highest standards are met throughout the business.
• Experience of international business development within the Industrial Cleaning Industry is essential.
• The ability to work with complete autonomy where required, at the same time retaining effective communications
• Demonstrated success in a results-driven business development environment, with a track record of achieving and exceeding demanding sales targets
• Should have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity in order to effectively manage all levels of client interactions
• Extensive client prospecting experience<BR>• A collaborative management style and strong leadership skills / potential are important
• The ability to identify opportunities for the business and be confident in communicating and demonstrating the positive business impact of such opportunities

About our client
Solarca is one of Europe's largest Chemical cleaning companies and part of the Spanish organisation Grupo Dominguis. Activities include chemical cleaning, combined cycle power plant cleaning, furnace cleaning, steam & air blowing, blast fire cleaning and legionella disinfection. Solarca is principle shareholder for The Steam & Air Blowing Service Company Limited (SABSCO) and is based in the UK. SABSCO and Solarca work very closely together to provide integrated chemical cleaning and steam/air blowing services.
