Finance Director EMEA

This presents an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to add value in a pro active, relationship led organization with a strong direct market position and excellent growth plans. Reporting to the Vice President, Controller (US based) responsibilities will include:

•Managing the Finance team across EMEA
•Providing input to the strategic direction and operation of the Company as part of the Senior Management team
•Working in partnership with the respective business units/management by leading financial accounting associated operational activities for the local legal entities, most importantly the planning & analysis, budgeting and forecasting processes
•Leading accounting/reporting activities in compliance with US GAAP.
•Working with US HQ to ensure compliance with SOX, FCPA, Corporate and local policies
• Regular travel to EMEA and US

Who we're looking for
The candidate will be:

•A qualified finance professional with proven strong technical proficiency and a track record of delivering success who is results driven and who enjoys working in a US/EMEA fast paced environment.
•Commercially minded with strong business acumen and multi team management with organizational development experience, able to work in a matrix structure.
•Able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
•An excellent communicator (verbal and written)
•An intelligent, analytical, problem solver with the ability to deliver to tight timelines.
•A big picture thinker who can also execute the detail as required. .
•A proven ability to successfully build and maintain key relationships.Able to successfully build and maintain key relationships
•Experienced in Oracle, Hyperion or Cognos and Excel.
•From a Healthcare and/or Multinational corporate background
•Ideally fluent in other European languages
