Within the role you will be expected to:
• Approve the audit strategy and risk assessment
• Manage the delivery of services to designated clients
• Manage relationships on designated clients
• Maximize fee opportunities by managing designated clients
• Develop skills of staff engaged on client portfolio
• Approve various engagements budgets and agree fees and become more involved in the preparation phase dependent upon client complexity
• Lead and coordinate the planning and management of assignments
• Ensure compliance with internal (methodology and risk management) / external (regulatory) requirements and Audit Director management arrangements
• Deliver services in accordance with the principles of the Client Services Framework
Who we're looking for
Your skill set will include:
• Pro-actively advise clients on business/strategic/accounting issues
• Ability to identify areas of risk within clients' businesses
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to manage clients' expectations
• Ability to establish a strong network internally and externally and is regarded as having a strong impact and being personally credible
• Business development, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work
• Pro-active leader of teams, ensure team members are properly managed and motivated and staff needs including training are identified and acted upon
• Act as a credible role model to more junior staff with strong coaching and feedback skills
• Project/financial management skills
• Change oriented with a flexible approach
