Based in Crawley, West Sussex and reporting to the Senior Management team you will manage all day-to-day Legal matters on behalf of the business. You will be responsible for negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, managing the Group's IP matters, assisting with company secretarial matters and managing external counsel. You will also provide first-class support and guidance to the rest of the business with regards to planning, commercial property and other matters such as Pensions and Insurance as and when they arise.
This is a hands-on role where you will be given immediate responsibility for Group-wide commercial matters and as such you will need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen from day one.
Who we're looking for
You will be a Qualified, Commercial Solicitor with hands-on and practical knowledge of commercial and legal matters within an In-House legal environment. You may be seeking to make your first move out of private practice or currently be working in an In-House role and seeking a greater level of responsibility. You will be working in a small and close-knit Head-Office team and you will need to be able to build strong working relationships from the outset. It is vital that you can demonstrate common sense, first-class communication skills and the ability to roll your sleeves up and provide leading individuals within the business sound and practical advice.
