Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience as either a project or discipline manager within a development organisation. The ability to manage programmes, in particular awareness of critical path.

Degree level education will be sought or possession of a relevant professional qualification, along with IT skills to include Word, Excel and e-mail.

Who we're looking for
Main Duties
- Projects co-ordination ensuring that the skills and resources of each department, together with external consultants, are fully utilised.
- Maintain standards of good practice and ensure adherence to technical procedures.
- Manage the team to ensure that all designs/ technical issues are dealt with within the pre start programme and budget.
- Prepare fee tenders, analyse quotations against budgets and appoint chosen consultants.
- Manage external consultants to ensure information is received, co-ordinated and distributed on time and within budget.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policy.
- Manage the design process using the Company's approved collaborative Extranet .
- Arrange regular project review meetings.
- Attend client and consultant meetings as appropriate to determine, facilitate and review the scheme progression.
- Liaise and negotiate where necessary with Planning Officers, Consultants to meet project objectives and programmes.
- Advise on changes in technical matters.
- Determine and progress the training and personal development of the technical staff within the team.
