The Directorate is responsible for addressing the needs of vulnerable people, including disabled people, people with mental health needs and frail older people. In order to achieve this, the Directorate works in partnership with service users, carers and other agencies to assess individual needs and arrange and provide a range of services to meet assessed need. The Directorate is also responsible for ensuring that social care provision is planned within the wider context of health care, health improvement, housing strategy and the Community Plan, and is provided to ensure fairness and contributes to social inclusion.
Who we're looking for
Solicitor or Q.B.E. with demonstrable track record of adult social services.
