This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious FinancialController to join an innovative, inspirational and fast paced media organisation who have a strong foothold in the UK market expanding into Europe. This role has the overall responsibility for the continual assessment, management and review of the European Finance function including treasury, tax, insurance, IT, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and Corporate Governance. Provide commercial support for the company including deal evaluation of new business opportunities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for overall Financial reporting to group head office based in Australia, including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
• Provision of commercial/strategic input into the company's operations as required
• Monthly financial forecasts and annual budget.
• Cash flow management (including AP & debtors management) and forecasts
• Responsibility for treasury and cash flow optimisation.
• Responsible for European regulatory reporting and lodgement including all financial lodgements and European tax compliance requirements.
• Continued assessment and improvement of systems and internal controls to Public Company requirements and standards. This includes all transactional and reporting requirements to meet the Group's high standards and due dates.
• Overall financial management including day to day finance and accounting requirements.
• Liaison and reporting to local business partners, bankers, auditors.
• Along with your European peer group, work together to ensure smooth general business operation of all European offices covering business systems, monitoring and maintaining operational expenditure within budgets, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Who we're looking for
You will be an accomplished Financial Controller ideally with some Plc experience from a service sector background. You will be a qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA. We are looking for candidates who have the natural ability to develop relationships and build credibility quickly both internally and externally. This opportunity will suit an entrepreneurial candidate who is looking for a fast paced business and who is able to keep up with this high growth organisation.
