Management Accountant

• Discuss with managers service, operational and capital developments and issues, to analyse methods of developing cost estimates to support such projects and to prepare detailed costing information.

• Assist in cost improvement and cost pressure programmes, ensuring that all income, costs and risks are identified.

• Investigate means of managing financial risks and make recommendations for the most appropriate means to be carried out.
• Produce annual cost centre budgets for the Trust in conjunction with budget holders and senior finance staff, ensuring appropriate budgets are set and risks are identified.

Ensure that on-going maintenance of the budgetary control system takes place, ensuring that all agreed adjustments to budget are input.

• Investigate complex or serious issues relating to debtors or creditors and to resolve these issues.

Who we're looking for
Member of an Approved Accountancy Body
Minimum of 3 years' post qualification accountancy experience
