Condé Nast International (CNI) is a global magazine publishing company producing over 100 glossy magazines including Vogue, Glamour, GQ and Vanity Fair across 22 countries.
They are looking for an Analyst to join their Strategy and Planning Department. The position is based in the West End Head Office where the successful candidate will be in a high profile position and exposed to business critical information used by senior executives in both finance and non-finance roles.

The Analyst will be responsible for the accuracy, consolidation and interpretation of the management accounts that the countries across the group submit. They will undertake financial and commercial analysis with a view to identifying and addressing concerns along with successes and best practices. They will have regular contact with finance teams across all of the international offices.

The role would be ideal for a candidate seeking to combine high-level consolidation and analytical experience, with developing a career within a major publishing company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Based on companies' submissions, prepare accurate and timely consolidated management accounts for the publishing and Internet companies. This will include both monthly results and quarterly/annual forecasts.
• Manage the compilation and checking of companies reporting submissions.
• With other department members, undertake detailed reviews of the accounts to identify concerns/issues along with successes and best practices. Where applicable, work with the countries to establish an understanding of these issues, providing advice/guidance where necessary.
• Work closely with the team to establish guidelines and recommendations for reporting and continually improve the reporting process.
• Compilation and analysis of key statistics for the Chairman and senior management
• Provide statistical support to the department in respect to special projects.

Who we're looking for
Condé Nast International is looking for a bright, commercially astute applicant who fulfils the following selection criteria:

• A good degree, preferably 2.1 and preferably in business or finance.
• CIMA/ACCA in progress
• Previous experience in a commercial environment (preferably with some management accounting experience).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a capacity to speak with employees at all levels.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Excel.
• Good organisational skills with a meticulous approach to tasks.
• An ability and desire to use financial and analytical skills to help develop and grow the business.
• Keen to work within an international environment
• The ability to speak languages as well as English would be a bonus although is not a necessity.
