Their requirement is for a talented, enthusiastic technologist with post qualification experience and knowledge of the housing sector to include knowledge of current building regulations and other legislation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical development and coordination of project production information and will work on their own initiative. Duties will include the preparation of sketch schemes and specifications, detail and working drawings on a range of new build retirement projects and design and planning / regulation.
Who we're looking for
Objectives: To promote the company and to achieve the following objectives.
• To provide detailed design information for the construction team, enabling projects to be completed within programme, budget and specification requirements.
• To ensure good relationships with Clients, Consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• To obtain quotations from Consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers as appropriate.
• To lead the design process and collation of design information.
• To actively research and advise upon alternative construction processes.
• To actively participate with the project team to the benefit of each project.
• To assist Estimators in preparing D&B submissions, as requested.
• Adapt/qualify ER's in tender. (A3 copy or ER's and amended at side).
