• Provide initiation, definition, delivery and closure of projects within agreed timescales
• Manage projects of medium size and complexity within the programme portfolio
• Manage a team of business analysts
• Provides project management expertise and leads key project work streams, working with the full project life cycle, following project governance processes
• Identify interdependent projects and ensure these are clearly understood and managed
• Scope, plan and manage projects through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality.
• Identify and evaluate project risks and issues and devise and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Stakeholder, people and relationship management
• Promotion of an environment of continuous improvement ensuring a QA process is applied through the project lifecycle
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have:
• Significant Change Management experience<BR>• Functional knowledge of Operations and related Technology
• Project Lifecycle planning and delivery of projects of between 3-9 months duration
• Commercial acumen with a track record of benefits delivery
• Experience of managing and controlling costs to a budget successfully
•A recognised formal qualification in Project Management to certified level
• Use of an established project management methodology ensuring formal tracking of projects and a clear audit trail
• Requirement to travel will feature
