The right candidate will take day-to-day control of "ad-hoc" consultancy projects .
To manage own portfolio.
To manage and motivate staff. Undertake "ad-hoc" consultancy work .
Manage portfolio of complex cases.
Become established for billing.
Need to keep up to date technically.
Budgeting and monitoring compliance Fees.
Responsible for maintaining client service.
Dealing with staff question; troubleshoot problems.
Compliance. Ensuring S&W procedures are followed.
Ensuring Inland Revenue, Customs & Excise and DSS procedures are followed.
Ensuring staff understand procedures.
Who we're looking for
Qualified Charted Accountant ACA; Tax qualified practitioner ATII; technically able to support.
Experience of managing people; approachable.
Complex client work; mainly creative tax planning work; marketing skills.
Administration and management of staff.
Tax computer literate.
Client focus - client service.
Technical Tax knowledge.
Commercial awareness - value to client and team profitability.
Teamwork - organises and supports others.
Good communicators - both written and oral.
Problem solving - positive attitude to solving problems.
