An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading construction company, for a Senior Buyer to join them based in the West Midlands. The main responsibilities of the role will be:
• Materials and sub-contract procurement across my client's Midlands region.
• Procuring for major civil engineering projects across the Midlands ranging in value from £200,000 to £30m.
• Managing the end-to-end procurement process across a number of projects simultaneously.
• Driving for themost efficientmix of cost, quality and ability to deliver on time.
• Mentoring a buyer to assist with the less strategic elements of the process and developing their skills.

Who we're looking for
You will possess a well developed sub-contract procurement skill set, ideally from a construction environment but this is not a pre-requisite.
Ideally you will also be degree and CIPS qualified.
