My Newcastle based client is looking for an interim accountant to support the finance team throughout a busy period.

The role has arisen following a period of growth and as a result, there has been an internal restructure. There is a high possibility that this role will become permanent.

You will be involved with:

- Assisting with the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts
• Preparing of management information, adding value to the numbers
• Preparation of statutory reports, interim and annual reports
• Assisting with forecasting and budgeting
• Ensuring compliance with group accounting standards and controls
• Conducting business unit balance sheet reviews
• Developing strong relationships with the rest of the finance community throughout the group
• Ad hoc project work
