Account Director - Media & Broadcast

Media and Broadcast (M&B) is an entrepreneurial standalone business. M&B is at the centre ofmy Clientsmedia strategy. The UK market is critical in underpinning global growth and the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving major sales achievement.

M&B consists of 5 main business areas at various stages of development from start-up to mature. These are:

?X Digital Media - providing software products to the Media industry
?X UK Network - providing a media enabled network for the broadcast and media industry in the UK.
?X Global Media Network - providing a media enabled network for the media industry around the globe
?X Sports Production - producing and editing content for sports broadcasters
?X TV Outside Broadcasting - providing facilities and transmission for outside broadcasts

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be part of the UK Media Sales team and will work with colleagues to develop and own the closure of new network and software solutions business opportunities within the UK media market place.

Responsibilities:

?X Hit and exceed agreed revenue and margin targets through the closure of new network and software centric solutions.

?X Develop relationships with appropriate C-level contacts, key decision-makers and influencers within target clients to establish their network and software solutions partner of choice.

?X Working with colleagues to design and deliver solutions to identified client needs.

?X Develop Sales Strategy Plans including Account Development Plans, Contact Strategy, Client landscaping and Opportunity Plans, to execute on these plans for successful sales closure

?X Thorough and in-depth understanding of the business drivers and trends within the media market place, identify and close new network and software centric solutions business within major media clients.

Who we're looking for
?XProven + demonstrable experience in selling large, complex, high value technology centric solutions into major UK media accounts and the media market place in the UK. Previous experience selling Digital Media, ICT and/or Network sales is critical.

?X Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets through:

- growing account revenues year on year and
- identifying, creating and closing new business with new accounts

?X Able to develop deep relationships high and wide within client organizations.

?X Excellent market knowledge with the ability to match technology solutions to business drivers

?X Excellent Strategic sales planning and execution skills

?X Team player with the ability to self manage
