Applying your in-depth category knowledge, you'll support the development of category plans that meet the needs of our internal clients whilst achieving significant bottom line savings. You'll work within a defined budget to monitor the spend and liaise extensively with internal stakeholders and suppliers. You will manage a defined area of spend providing the crucial link between internal stakeholders and the supplier market. Key accountabilities will be:
• Tender preparation and review using e-sourcing events.
• Drafting and management of contracts.
• Supplier relationship and performance management including rationalisation.
• Savings identification and delivery.
• Internal stakeholder liaison.
• Input into the development of more junior team members.
Who we're looking for
Your background is in category management and you can demonstrate change management and problem solving prowess. You possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross functionally. You can evidence significant savings delivery and first class supplier management skills.
