Manchester

Permanent

Updated September 18, 2008

The new intake will support team members on the largest and most demanding jobs and will be the first port of call for assistance on competition matters within the Manchester office. The candidate will have the technical skill and confidence to deal with both other senior members of the firm and clients. Whilst marketing and business development will be part of the role these are not expected to take up vast amounts of time - at least not initially.

Who we're looking for
My client would be happy to hear from candidates at any level who have specialised in competition law and have been exposed to a wide range of jobs. The candidate would be expected to have a good understanding of the basics of economics as they apply in the competition law sphere and to have experience of investigations (dawn raids or written requests for information, OFT market studies or Competition Commission inquiries) and complaints, merger control (UK, EU and multi-jurisdictional filings), and compliance (compliance manuals, training, etc).

About our client
Leading International top-Tier with a strong Manchester presence. Undisputed quality of work. Fantastic culture.
