The International Sales Manager will be tasked with delivering significant new revenues for the Security Print division of De La Rue. You will identify, develop and implement the territory sales plan to maximise all sales and revenue opportunities; driving the sales cycle and meeting pre-defined sales targets. You will be selling a varied portfolio of services and products into key government ministries and key corporate organisations and liaising with and closing business with high level economic and political decision makers. Cycles will vary according to the client and the specific need, and the nature of the service will see you securing high value, big-ticket contracts.

Whilst the post holder is the key point of contact for the client, you will liaise with various departments internally who collectively will provide the overall service to the customer. This would include other sales functions, operations, finance, technical and the contract management team.

This role is highly consultative and solution-lead and a large proportion will be face-to-face with target opportunities. The remit will explicitly cover an international opportunity base with extensive travel globally.

Who we're looking for
The International Sales Manager will be able to demonstrate the majority of the following:

• A proven track record of new business sales success (proof of achievement would be desirable), preferably from a B2B/B2G solutions background.
• Prior exposure to selling complex and multi-faceted solutions over mature sales cycles, and experience in dealing with high value contracts.
• A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
• High commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with middle managers through to senior decision makers.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, and a proven ability to present high profile presentations and demonstrations.
• An ability to work under pressure and to plan long-term sales process development.
• A high degree of focus on customer service with an ability to understand internal and external customer needs and tailor the service according to requirement.
• Additional foreign languages are not essential but would be desirable for certain markets.

What's on offer
Up to £45,000 Basic dependent on experience + 50% bonus + car allowance + benefits
