The role is to assist the current partner in this leading firm as they seek to develop a thriving competition practice. You will have to undertake a range of business development and help to build this department from the ground up.
The department is headed by a recognised competition partner who is well regarded in that field. You will be exposed therefore to an excellent quality of work and be able to build a solid foundation in Competition / Commercial law with a view to long term progression in Legal Private Practice.

Who we're looking for
• You will be a dynamic corporate lawyer with a passion for competition/commercial law.
• You will enjoy business development and be focussed on developing a strong competition practice within a leading organisation.
• You will have the ability to work independently and be a strong and determined figurehead for a growing practice group.
• You will either be a current Manchester resident or have ties and be willing to relocate to the area.
• Candidate should already have experience in competition law and also have experience in commercial law generally.
