• To assist the Finance Controller and Finance Director in providing an effective cost and management accounting and information service and to ensure that accurate and timely accounting information is provided in accordance with all PCC and Company accounting procedures and polices.
• To pro-actively work with other departments and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business .
• Contribute to bottom line profitability & enhance the profile of finance within the organisation.
• Customisation of reporting including product line profitability, make or buy decision making and post capital appraisal.
• Further development of standard costing systems
• Roll out best practice operating controls and procedures in line with Sarbanes Oxley processes.
Who we're looking for
• Above all the candidate must demonstrate high energy levels and have a commitment to making a difference along with a strong personality.
• Have excellent spreadsheet and modelling skills.
• Preferably be of graduate calibre, studying towards a professional accountancy qualification.
• Have a working knowledge of management accounting and costing principles.
• Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
• Be able to progress within a fast moving and dynamic environment
• Excellent IT skills preferably including Windows and Microsoft Office.
