Corporate Tax Manager

Main responsibilities could include:
• Overall management of corporate tax procedures and developing supporting systems to manage the process by exception reporting.
• Assisting existing staff with complex compliance issues at review stage.
• Generating the provision of additional value added corporate tax services from the growing client base and through the provision of client services in more complex areas such as the development of transfer pricing policies for international clients.
• Leading on planning assignments of a corporate nature including branch/subsidiary considerations, group tax planning, restructuring and reorganisation.
• Dealing with employee issues such as the establishment of share incentive schemes.
• Dealing with the Inland Revenue enquiries.
• Assisting the tax partners with external marketing (including presentations and articles as appropriate), in house technical training and the development of knowledge management within the firm.
The individual appointed will be expected to establish an promoted regular client contact to build up the corporate tax presence amongst existing and potential new clients.

Who we're looking for
• Either ACA / ACCA and/or ATII qualified individual or ex-Revenue with significant experience in a professional practice.
• Key qualities include:
• Relevant technical ability
• Manager level experience<BR>• Capable of working autonomously
• Able to communicate authoritatively with partners and assist with development of more junior staff.
• Client focused and challenge orientated
