Agricultural Property Solicitor

Legal Private Practice

Carlisle

Permanent

Updated June 24, 2008

This role is for a long term replacement for the sole partner of this firm's thriving Wigton office which is highly respected in this rural area. Initially you will support the current incumbent as he begins the gradual wind down to retirement, some time in the next two years, when you would be expected to take over the running of that office.
There are excellent prospects for the right candidate and this role offers a genuine route to equity partnership.
This role offers a true work life balance and will particularly appeal to the lawyer who wishes to escape the city rat-race and to make a long term move to rural Cumbria. With the Lake District to the South and the Scottish Borders to the North there is plenty on offer outside office hours.

Who we're looking for
• You will be a seasoned solicitor who has developed a strong understanding in Agriculture and Property law and Private Client including Tax planning, Wills and Probate.
• You will have the desire to work in an established rural area with a strong farming community and work which flows from that.
• You will be looking for partnership in the long term and you will be prepared to make a long term commitment to the firm and the location.
• You will be personable and keen to become involved with the local community.
• You will be keen to make the defining move in your legal career.

What's on offer
£Good package for the right candidate. All negotiable and D.O.E.
