This international Offshore firm, with practices across the global Offshore Financial Centres, is looking to grow it's award-winning Funds practice. The Funds team in Cayman focuses breaks down into three specialist areas: Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Distressed Funds. Working as a Funds Lawyer, you will gain exposure to each of these specialist fields, and your responsibilities will include advising clients on investment strategies, advising on legal structure of funds and other formation issues, advising on public and private M&A transactions, as well as working with the litigation team on advising funds and their directors on the restructuring or winding down of a funds affairs.
Who we're looking for
• You MUST hold a legal qualification from a Common-Law jurisdiction.
• You must have a strong background in Funds/Private Equity/Corporate law with a top City or Regional firm.
• You should be committed to growing the practice, and relocating to the Cayman Islands.
