The role is a stand alone position based in Montrose, reporting into the Site Director and UK HumanManager for Manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include;
• Providing advice to management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices, ensuring 100% compliance.
• Lead key local human resource activities for employees including new employee orientation, effective communications, employee relations, compliance, payroll and salary administration.
• Support Recruitment team in recruiting, interviewing and selection processes.
• Collaborate with HRMs on compensation and benefits management, including salary surveys and industry benchmarking.
• Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate and drive various corporate and divisional business initiatives.

Who we're looking for
Ideally you will have worked within the Manufacturing sector previously, combined with experience of working within unionised environment. You will have previous experience in the principles and procedures relating to recruiting, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labour relations and HR information systems. In addition you will have strong interpersonal skills and passion for driving business excellence. Ideally you will be educated to degree level and working towards or hold CIPD membership. You will have previously been involved in change management and be able to demonstrate the ability to interact and consult effectively with business leaders and employees.
