Senior Employer Engagement Consultant

Management of the interface with the local labour market and the provision of commercial-standard recruitment services to local employers. They will ensure a constant supply of vacancies to customers seeking employment.
Operations
• Coach and influence Employer Engagement Consultants, subcontractors and employers on how the provision can meet business needs, on approaches to complex solutions, and on validation of project scope and estimate
• Negotiate agreements with national and regional employers to ensure constant flow of high quality vacancies into programme
• Collaborate with Client Agency to develop broad-ranging agreements with customers for professional, support and training services.
• Develop relationships with Train 2 Gain and other workforce development programmes to compliment the employer offer
• Arrange incentivised internal recruitment events to drive performance and generate high-motivation and sales-attitude within the employer engagement team
• Arrange and market external recruitment events to raise the profile of our client's employment services, including collaborating with Jobcentre Plus and commercial recruitment agencies as appropriate.

Management
• Provide leadership to employer engagement team, including setting and monitoring performance targets, monthly reviews and annual appraisals
• Undertake Training Needs Analyses for Employer Engagement team to ensure continuous professional development of employer-facing staff
• Contribute to the creation, implementation, measurement and continuous improvement of service delivery processes
• Contribute to knowledge sharing (e.g., conducting internal training and writing Knowledgebase articles) and other internal communication forums
• Work with Group Marketing Director, to develop national employer relationships across the Client Group agenda
• Help ensure the contract exceeds job outcome and sustainability targets through appropriate performance management and incentivisation

Who we're looking for
• Graduate or of graduate calibre, or significant proven experience of developing and maintaining commercial employer relationships
• At least 3 years experience managing sales team
• Demonstrable ability to interact with senior levels within a variety of organisations required
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop teams effectively required
• Previous experience of dealing with government departments and / or complex contracting arrangements an advantage
• Knowledge of welfare-to-work within a UK context an advantage
• IT literate
