Senior Energy Audit Engineer

Reporting to the Vice President (Engineering), based in Durham, you will need to serve as the technical lead and value engineering function in the support of the company's ability to analyze and provide recommendations for energy conservation, and energy reliability needs, and to provide the methods and practices for such facilities it owns or being able to market this capability. The role requires you not only to be able to provide energy conservation advice but the ability to analyze current energy supplies for facilities and evaluate the reliability and to make recommendations to improve reliability through changes in connections or additional generation technologies is also required. Knowledge of various energy conservation methods is vital to provide new processes, equipment and systems to reduce energy consumption. The role will also require you to understand the commercial aspects of energy reduction or energy reliability and able to present to senior management reports and presentations regarding the current energy regulatory market as to possible incentives offered to reduce energy consumption by the distribution company.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Provide for the overall evaluation of assigned projects related to energy conservation principles and practices and energy reliability technologies from inception through implementation.
• Coordinate and provide fort he feasibility studies for the research and implementation of the various energy conservation projects.
• Establish the scope and work services required to initiate the engineering evaluation of assigned projects laying out the recommendations of the work, and resources, schedule and budget required.
• Provide assistance to other within the company to provide advice in new development to assure projects are designed in accordance with the highest standards of energy conservation and / or energy reliability.

What's on offer
Excellent package £50,000 - £60,000 base plus Exec Package and relocation.
