As Marketing & Sales Manager you will lead the development of the multi-channel consumer and trade marketing campaign covering advertising, PR, Trade, Events and a Bar Tender Training programme from initial creative idea to market launch. Once you have developed this campaign you will then work closely with the brand owners to develop channel launch plans including sell-in presentations, promotions and retailer/bar specific tie-ups. As Marketing & Sales Manager you will be the champion for the brands within your remit and be tasked with growing consumer awareness, driving distribution through both the major mults and the independent channels and getting the best deal for the brand owners. Working with both the on and off trade this role will be challenging but very rewarding and will provide the right individual with a chance to makea real difference in one of the most exciting categories. Who we're looking for
To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and experience:
• Wine or Spirits experience<BR>• Buying, Sales, Marketing, Category or Trade Marketing experience inthe alcohol industry
• Commercially focussed - ability to plan and deliver against stretching targets
• Driven - must be able to make things happen even when faced with obstacles
• Time Management - need to be disciplined to manage your own day
• Strong influencing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude and open mind

About our client
A not-for-profit trade association acting on behalf of small independent manufacturers, this business champions the production, distribution and brands of this particular sector of the alcoholic drinks market in an attempt to improve the performance of their brands globally, with particular focus on the European market. With the Head Office in the Caribbean there is a need for someone to run the UK operations and this is where you come in.
